Old Leigh is an old fishing village in Essex, UK, also known as "The Old Town" area of Leigh-on-Sea, situated approximately 30 miles east of London, down the River Thames.
This picturesque, historical place, comprises of fishing boats, craft shops, pubs, houses, wharfs, marine industries and cockle sheds which stretch along the shoreline and High Street.

29th April 2018 Viewing from 11am - 1pm and then the Auction will start at 2pm.
Additional viewing on the 28th April between 11am and 3pm. Grab yourself a piece of local history from the legendary Lynn Tait Gallery.
We will be auctioning off (pretty much) everything from the shop – that includes stock, shop fittings, artworks, artefacts and everything in between.
P.S. unfortunately our lovely pier train isn’t for sale!

15 stalls of goods handmade by local crafters, with tasty treats and street food also available. The event can be enjoyed come rain or shine as it’s hosted within a beautiful large marquee which really transforms the area.

A range of activities are available including, craft, princess appearances and games. The council have also organised performances throughout the day which can be enjoyed for free!

The Town Council have organised a day of mini movement taster workshops and demonstrations for residents and visitors to enjoy in the Old Town, free of charge. An opportunity to try something new, learn about classes in your area, meet new people, improve your wellbeing through exercise and most of all, have fun!
